Anais Nin and the Women of the Left Bank
/Hello friends, save the date of June 24 for an in store event with Clara Oropeza Ph. D and Sylvie Blum-Reid on Anaïs Nin and the Women of the Left Bank! They will discuss Anaïs Nin’s Paris years on the Left Bank as well as other Left Bank modernist women writers in the 1930s.
Clara Oropeza is the author of the book Anaïs Nin: A Myth of Her Own published in 2019. She is a Professor of English Literature and Composition at Santa Barbara City College. Sylvie Blum-Reid teaches French and film at the University of Florida. She is the author of Traveling in French Cinema (published in 2016) and East-West Encounters: Franco-Asian Cinema and Literature (published in 2003).
